2008 RECAP

Regional A
  • Green Bay NEW Lutheran: Return second-team Packerland all-conference senior outside Alexis Schaefer, honorable mention Packerland all-conference senior libero Cassie Sarokin and junior outside Rachel Bordeleau. Look for senior middle Stephanie Nier, senior right side Shauna Wachholz, junior setter Carley Valentine, junior outside Val Mielke and junior middle Gabby VanBever to make significant contributions throughout the season.
  • Hilbert: The (mascot here) will not only have a legitimate shot at winning the Olympian conference, they'll also be one of several with a legitimate shot to reach the Resch. They return everyone.
  • Lena They
  • Manitowoc Lutheran: Drops from WIAA D3. They were undefeated in the Olympian Conference in 2008. Return their two top hitters in Kelly Hauf and Brianna Robley.
  • Oneida Nation
  • Stockbridge Graduated one HM Central Lakeshore all-conference player last season.

  • Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Junior Abbey Neils was HM Central Lakeshore last season.

  • Kohler Senior Kelsey Stefanczyk and Megan Patterson were HM Central Lakeshore all-conference last season.

  • Sheboygan Christian Seniors Jennifer Ongna and Amanda Roush were HM Central Lakeshore all-conference last season.

  • Cambria-Friesland: Junior Arianna Wiersma was POY in Trailways North. They graduate Brittany Bylsma, who was also first team. But Junior Kayla Wiersma was Trailways North honorable mention last season.

  • Johnson Creek: Senior Ashley Rome was first-team Trailways South last season. Kassidy Lemminger was second-team. Joelle Bauer was HM.

  • Faith Christian: Faith Christian has Rae Ann Brandes and three other starters from last year's team (more to come)
