  • Osceola The Chieftains will rely heavily on junior middle Paige Garriga, who was second-team Middle Border all-conference in 2008. Senior Jenny Fjelstad had 158 kills and 210 digs. Senior middle Marsha Hanson had 100 kills.
  • Somerset The Spartans will likely turn to junior Karli Solum led the team in kills last season with 59. Senior Alicia Potting had 56. Senior Lauren Westerdahl had 164 assists last season. The big block of senior Gracie Hartman.

  • Durand Senior Kelly Robelia had 140 assists last season. Junior Courtney Brusoe led the Middle Border conference in total blocks last season with 24. Senior Katie Sam had 19. They only lost one player to graduation and had only two juniors on their roster last season. Sophomore Michaela Danzinger made the roster as a freshman.
  • Ellsworth Junior Kayla Christopherson was second in the Middle Border in kills last season with 93. Senior Carlie Melstrom had 220 assists last season. The big blocks of senior Rachael Anderson and junior Claire Tingelhoff. They're the Panthers.
  • Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau: The Tigers are in the Coulee conference.
