Work in Progress on 2009 Girls Division Three Sectional Three

CONTENDERS

Regional A
  • Aquinas: Senior Kristine Schill. Setter Erin Kelly graduated as did middle Kassie McGettigan Link
  • Bangor: The Cardinals are in the Scenic Bluffs. Senior setter Devin Tenner returns.
  • Brookwood: Scenic Bluffs.
  • Luther: The Knights were Coulee conference champs last season. They graduated all of their all-conference selections.


  • Necedah: Scenic Bluffs.
  • Viroqua: Three returning letterwinners are junior Shelly Anderson, and seniors Katelyn Sloane and Mali Collins
  • Westby: Returning letterwinners include sophomore Megan Fortun.
Regional B
  • Belleville: Graduated Jackie and Jenny Walejko, both first-team Capitol South all-conference. Return juniors Quinn Rear (second team) and Natalie Manion (HM).
  • Boscobel
  • Fennimore
  • Iowa-Grant
  • Lancaster
  • New Glarus: Graduated three Capitol South all-conference players.
  • Riverdale
  • Wisconsin Heights: Returning state champs (check state program). Also sophomore Allison Roth was on bronze medal-winning team at 2009 HP Championships. Sophomore Vanessa Clarson also saw action as a freshman. Junior Alexa Barsness was second-team Capitol South all-conference last season. Senior Anna Ruhland was first team.
Regional C
  • Dodgeland: Graduated Akron recruit Morgan Kuhn. Juniors Brianna Schmitt and Samantha Schultz were first-team Trailways South last season.
  • Marshall
  • Palmyra-Eagle
  • Pardeeville: Graduated two Trailways South all-conference players.
  • Poynette: Graduated three Capitol North all-conference players.
  • Waterloo: Senior Mandy Rudolph was second-team Capitol South all-conference last season. Seniors Amy Loewen and Tiffany Stout were HM.

  • Cambridge: Junior Carley Jeffery was second-team Capitol South all-conference last season. Senior Karla Frey was HM.
